Window Film benefits

Long-Lasting Quality

Johnson Window Films are known for their durability and appearance:

  • Colour-stable materials that resist fading and discolouration.
  • Scratch-resistant coatings to maintain a clear view.
  • Professional-grade adhesives to prevent bubbling or peeling.
  • Made in North America with strict quality standards.
  • Backed by industry-leading warranties.

UV Protection

Prolong the life of your interiors. Almost all of our films block 99% of harmful UV rays, helping to:

  • Prevent fading of furniture, floors, and artwork.
  • Preserve the long-term value of your space.
  • Protect your skin from prolonged UV exposure.

Did you know that blocking 99% of UV rays is equivalent to an SPF of 100? This exceptional performance is why Johnson Window Film products are recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation as effective UV protectants. (SPF = Sun Protection Factor)

Privacy & Security

Customize your level of privacy without losing your view. From subtle tint to frosted or reflective finishes, we offer options that:

  • Increase privacy by being reflective on the outside, while still allowing you to see out and enjoy the view.
  • Allow diffused natural light into the space by using frosted films, while blocking direct line of sight.
  • Deter break-ins with thicker safety/security films.
  • Protect your glass from shattering during storms or accidents.

Heat & Glare Reduction

  • Johnson Window Films are engineered to block up to 80% of solar heat and 99% of UV rays, creating a cooler, more comfortable space without sacrificing natural light.
  • Reduce hot spot areas in your building that your AC system cannot adjust to.
  • Cut cooling costs and reduce energy usage.
  • Reduce bright glare on TV and computer screens in rooms that have lots of natural light.

What are some film options available to me?

All solar control window films block 99% of harmful UV rays.

  • Dual reflective (reflective finish on the outside to provide privacy and a low reflection finish on the inside to provide good visibility, especially at night time)
  • Spectrally selective (rejects a large amount heat while still allowing lots of visible light to pass through)
  • Ceramic (stops a great amount of heat without adding a reflective finish)
  • Sputtered (a well rounded film that stops a good amount of heat while providing a low reflective finish)
  • Silver reflective (rejects an immense amount of heat and is highly reflective, providing considerable privacy during the day)
  • Bronze reflective (similar performance to silver reflective, but with a softer bronze colour tone)
  • Coloured film (available in blue, green, and gold, this film gives your building a unique look while rejecting considerable amounts of heat and providing a reflective finish for privacy)
  • UV clear (virtually clear film that blocks 99% uv and is not reflective)
  • Frosted (A semi-transparent decorative film designed for privacy, interior design and light diffusion applications)
  • White out/Blackout (Opaque white or black film to achieve 100% privacy)
  • Security Film (Thicker, stronger film with a more aggressive adhesive designed to hold glass together and protect against accidents, forced entry, extreme weather, seismic activity, and other unforeseen glass breakage. This film is available in a range of thicknesses to best suit your required level of protection. Tinted options are also available to provide the benefits of solar control film while still providing protection from broken glass)
  • Anti-graffiti film (Designed to protect glass, metal, and non-porous surfaces against graffiti, scratches, and vandalism. This film can be easily removed and replaced as needed to keep your surfaces protected.)
